About Me

When I was a boy, I read a story about a man who tried to shove a boulder up a hill. Day and night, for years, this man worked on the boulder. But he failed. No matter how hard he pushed, throughout all of those years, the boulder never budged. 

When I reached this point of the story, I felt afraid, maybe because I was being introduced to the reality that sometimes life doesn't work out how we want. But the story continued:

One day, the man accepted that it was time to give up his pursuit. But that pursuit had instilled in him patience and tenacity. Throwing himself against the boulder every day made his body strong and healthy. So, the man journeyed into the world with these gifts and found other successes. 

The story of the man and the boulder is, ultimately, the story of how I became a writer and storyteller with more than 15 years of experience, and how JM Content LLC came to be, sort of ... 

The short version is, storytelling is an act of self-love. And the JM in JM Content LLC comes from Je m'adore — or "I love me" in French.
